NCC (Non Cross Contamination)
Technology The high
sensitivity of PCR means that cross contamination is a problem to solve.
BILATEC offers a patented alternative sealing method by avoiding aerosol
contamination in microplates and tubes. The NCC
technology as a system has been developed for both manual and automated
implementation in research and everday lab work (RoboAmp 4200, MWG Biotech AG/Aviso
GmbH). Every cavity of an NCC-PCR plate can be closed and opened
individually with a single pluglifter. NCC
Technology is available for 1.5 ml Tubes, for 10 ml vessels with snap caps
and for 96-well PCR plates which can be used in all current thermal cyclers. Die
NCC-sealing is characterised by minimal liquid loss during CR and easy
handling. After PCR all 96 lids can be opened simultaneously with the 96
Pluglifter. Thermo-transfer Improved results thanks to ultra thin-walled tubes (< 0.3 mm) made
from special polyproplene. |

Unite the advantages of the THERMOSPRINT®
96-well plate with the advantages of the NCC-technology (Non Cross Contamination). Each well of the
96-well plate is closed by its own NCC-plug. The wells can be individually
opened and closed by a pluglifter (pluglifter, Cat.No. 311004; 96-pluglifter)
manually or automatically. NCC-single well closing allow for
non-cross-contamination working. Extremely
thin-walled tubes (£0.3mm
wall thickness) result in excellent thermo transfer for better, more reliable
PCR. Due to the high dimensional stability of the plate
they are ideal for automated systems (RoboAmp 4200, MWG
Biotech AG). RNase- and
DNase-free Compatible
with most standard 96 well thermocyclers. Autoclavable
at 121oC when mounted in workstation. Stackable in combination with the THERMOSPRINTâ Workstation. Also suited for sample storage. Barcode-clip
optional. Can be also used in combination with the 1.5ml
NCC-microtubes or 10ml NCC-tubes. |

NCC-plugs
|
The NCC-plugs allow for cross-contamination free work
by closing each well with an individual plug (NCC-technology). Each well can
be opened and closed separately with the help of a pluglifter (Deckelhandler,
Cat.No.311004). Each rack in MTP-format contains 96 ready to use
NCC-plugs for manual use. |

The NCC-plugs are not reusable. For this reason we
offer the wastebox for the NCC-plugs in which you can discard the NCC-plugs
from the pluglifter (Deckelhandler) after use. |

The pluglifter is the
universal instrument for closing and opening individual cavities of the
NCC-disposables (THERMOSPRINT®-NCC 96-well plates, THERMOSPRINT®-1.5ml NCC-Microtubes and THERMOSPRINT®-14ml NCC-tubes). The adaptation-ring at the top end of the plug-lifter
makes it easy to mount the plug-lifter on an Eppendorf-Reference pipette. The pluglifter can be used with or without a Reference
pipette. |

The 96 lid opener facilitates the usage of
the NCC-technology at your lab. It allows the user to open and close 96 wells
of NCC plates in just a few seconds, still having the possibility to open and
close single wells. With the 96 NCC lid opener the wells are evenly and
tightly closed, so the usage of sealing foils is no longer necessary. Thus
the Thermosprintâ NCC-system is ideal for quick and easy handling of
samples for PCR and storage, reducing evaporation and cross-contamination to
an absolute minimum. |
